Acids are found in several household Cleaning Compounds, Pool Chemicals, Solvents, Wet Cell Batteries, and Radiator Flushes and Cleaners. Acids, which have a pH range of 0 to 6.9, may be corrosive and cause severe burns on contact with living tissue. Acids should be disposed of as a hazardous waste. They can be taken to any Household Hazardous Waste collection facility or event; see collection information below.
