Milk/Soy Milk Containers

Aseptic Containers: Milk and Soy Milk Cartons and Juice Boxes

These cartons have a film/wax that make them waterproof therefore they cannot be processed with mixed paper.

Aseptic processing is the process by which a sterile (aseptic) product (typically food or pharmaceutical) is packaged in a sterile container in a way that maintains sterility.

Recycle

Unfortunately, they can’t be processed with the mixed paper and must be thrown out.

In order to collect a product the county must have an end user or broker. Currently we do not have a market for milk/soy cartons. We are not aware of any opportunity for recycling them locally. Hopefully an option will develop in the future.
